Common questions and troubleshooting for Minecraft server configuration

The server.properties file goes directly into the root directory of your Minecraft server. In FreeMcServer, you can edit it directly in the browser using the Web File Manager or upload it via FTP.

You must restart your Minecraft server after making changes to server.properties for the new settings to be applied.
